Just a simple cloud
on a Raspberry Pi
„I do not have my own server….“
That’s why we offer it on Raspberry Pi!
The Raspberry Pi is one of the top-selling miniature computers, it was sold worldwide more than 20 million times.
We are offering you the possibility to run the “Just a simple cloud” server not only on Windows, but also on the Raspberry Pi.
All you need, is a Raspberry Pi (model “3B+”, “3B” or “2B V1.2”). You can either use your own Raspberry Pi and install the software on your own, flash one of the provided images (which are ready to run) or buy a pre-configured and mounted Raspberry Pi in our shop. In the download area, you will find manuals, images and links to the software, you need. Just follow the instructions step-by-step.
To use your Raspberry Pi at home, we recommend to use the relay service. In most cases, you will use a router at home, which blocks incoming connections. Therefore, you need to set up a “port forwarding”. Additionaly you may need a dynamic DNS service to always know your current IP address. Our relay service will avoid this and makes things much easier for you. How to do this is described in the manual.
How to setup my RasPi?
- Run the RasPi:
- a RasPi, which was purchased over our webpage is already ready to go,
- if you already have a RasPi, simply write a pre-configured image to your sd card,
- or install the JASC tools on your RasPi, which you have already in use (consult the manual).
A detailled manual can be found in the download area.
Maybe you have already heard about it, but what exactly is this? Buy your own pre-configured Raspberry Pi in our shop and all you need to do is to plug in the network cable into your router and the power supply. It takes only a few minutes.
The manual describes step-by-step how to set up your Raspberry Pi with just a few clicks, install a license and configure the server to your needs. It is that simple!
All you need is your own Raspberry Pi, one of the images and the software to write the image to the SD card.
Your are an experienced user and already know how to use the Raspberry Pi and Linux?
Just download the installation manual and do the job by your own. Cheer up! It is not that complicated!
